Booking & Policies

Everything you need to know before reserving a tour - how to book, payment options, deposits, and cancellation terms.

  • You can book online through our website or visit us in person at either of our offices in San Pedro or San Marcos.

  • Yes — we require booking at least one day in advance so we can prepare your ATVs and ensure availability.

  • We accept all major cards from any country, as well as cash payments at our office.

  • No — we don’t require a deposit. All tours are paid in full at the time of booking.

  • All bookings are non-refundable. This helps us honor our guides’ time and ensure your ATVs are reserved and ready for your tour.

Meeting Points & Getting Ready

Helpful info about where tours begin, how to get there, and what to bring to make the most of your experience.

  • Tours begin from either our San Pedro or San Marcos office.

  • Both San Pedro and San Marcos are very walkable, but you can also take a tuk-tuk to our office. Tuk tuks should cost Q5 - Q10 per person.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour so we can check you in, get you fitted with a helmet, and make sure you’re fully ready to start on time.

  • Comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and sunglasses. Expect some dust — light layers are best. A jacket is recommended for sunrise or sunset tours when the air is cooler.

  • Yes, please bring water to stay hydrated.

  • Yes — many tours include stops where you can buy snacks, drinks, or handmade items from local vendors.

  • Yes, a small backpack is perfectly fine to bring along.

  • Yes — your guide will let you know when and where stops are available along the route.

  • Yes — a valid driver’s license is required to operate an ATV.

  • Yes, helmets are provided and required for all riders.

  • Yes. Safety is our top priority, and our guides are trained, experienced, and familiar with every route.

  • No problem at all! Your guide will give you a lesson before the tour so you feel comfortable and confident.

  • During rainy season, some paths may be muddier, but our guides adjust the routes to keep the tour fun and safe.

  • Yes - especially for sunrise or sunset tours when temperatures drop.

Groups, Tours & Experience

  • We don’t currently offer private tours, but all of our group tours are guided with lots of personal attention.

  • Yes! From our San Pedro location, we can host up to 12 ATVs — or up to 24 people with passengers.

  • Absolutely! We stop at amazing lookout points with stunning lake and volcano views — perfect for photos.

  • Yes! Your guide is happy to help take photos or videos so you can capture the moment.

  • Yes — each ATV can carry a driver and one passenger.

  • Yes. Depending on the route, you’ll pass through or stop in local villages and viewpoints around the lake.

  • Yes — most routes include chances to purchase snacks, drinks, or locally made goods.
